I am very excited to announce that I am officially on the voter’s ballet for the November 6th elections. Wednesday I submitted my papers and paid the $1,000 fee to run for the Pleasant Valley School District Board of Trustees. The County of Ventura just updated their Candidate’s list and has published it. You will find Kelly Long on page 29. My friend, Bill Little, is also running for Camarillo City Council on pg. 33.

One of the most important things that you can do is to vote! Please make sure that you are registered. There are several places that you can register in our area such as the Camarillo Hospice Farmer’s Market on Saturdays from 8 am to 12:30 pm or the Ventura County Fair. You can also check with the County of Ventura Elections office to look up if you are registered with Ventura County: http://recorder.countyofventura.org/elections/voter-lookups/am-i-a-registered-voter/
